How To Create Virtual Hard Disk (VHD)


Creates VHD easily by following this simple steps. (You can create many VHD as long as your HDD enough space)
-A VHD file can be moved from computer to computer and mounted off any disc array transparent to the Guest OS.
-Easier to backup
-More portable, Compressible and disc space can be managed better.
-Disc Image is the size of the actual data (plus a little) and not the actual partition size.
-No need to Ghost or use Acronis.
-Volume Snap shots

(To Create VHD)
1.
Press Windows Button + R and type diskmgmt.msc (Windows 7, Windows 8)
 or you can right click at Computer, click on Manage, and point to Disk Management.

2.  Click on Action, point to Create VHD

3. Browse (location to save the VHD) anywhere. The size can be MB,GB,TB. You decide.

4. Initialize the offline disk.

5. Choose the partition style, default is MBR.

6. Right click, create new simple volume and next until finish.
You're done creating VHD

(To Attach/Detach)
1. To Detach

If you want to delete VHD file, tick the box below it.
2. To Attach
 
Browse the VHD location and click OK.
